Many consumers in the UK are already in search of organic hair care products. However, not everything that is tagged as “organic” should be immediately translated as 100% natural. In terms of Natural Organic Haircare, one German organization, or BDIH, has created important guidelines in ensuring the quality of organic products all over Europe. BDIH has listed a few substances not ideal in the formulation of these products. Silicon, synthetic aromas, and colouring all need to be disqualified. When buying hair care brands, never hesitate to scrutinize the packaging for any harsh additives. BDIH strongly prohibits the practice of animal testing.
